NFL Week 5 schedule with Spreads: Game-by-Game Breakdown

Cowboys Visit 49ers in Week's Top Game

The NFL Week 5 full schedule has a couple of strong games that will have football fans excited. The biggest game of the week is probably the Sunday night game between the Cowboys and the 49ers. The bye weeks have started, with Tampa Bay, Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle and Cleveland all sitting out this week. Here is the NFL Week 5 schedule with spreads.

Commanders logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Washington -1.5
Moneyline: Washington -120

The NFL Week 5 full schedule kicks-off with the Chicago Commanders should be one of your NFL Week 5 ats picks as long as the odds remain this low.

Bills logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Buffalo -3.5 (Even)
Moneyline: Buffalo -170

A solid game here between two good Buffalo was favored over Miami by and the Dolphins seem to be a little more respected than the Jags. The NFL Week 5 Vegas odds on this game are pretty much right where they should be, making it tough to lean one way or the other.

Colts logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Indianapolis -1
Moneyline: Indianapolis -115

The AFC South matchup. The Titans won both games last year, so this is probably one the Colts have had circled on the schedule since it was released. The only problem is Tennessee will likely be a better team than the Colts this season.

Indianapolis will be playing some younger Titans may not be one of your NFL Week 5 bets but it’s awfully hard to go against them in this spot.

Steelers logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Baltimore -1
Moneyline: Baltimore -115

Another decent divisional matchup, this one sees the Ravens take to the road and visit Pittsburgh. On paper, Baltimore is clearly the better team. But few teams get as much of out of their players than the Steelers. These teams split a pair of close games last year, with Baltimore winning 16-14.

Pittsburgh returned the favor with a 16-13 road win a few weeks later. Baltimore was a strong under team last year and this could be another low-scoring game between these two teams. Since 2015, these teams are 5-11 in totals, so the under isn’t a bad NFL Week 5 over under play.

Patriots logo

Date & Time:
Odds: New England -2.5 (-115)
Moneyline: New England -140

An interesting game here between a pair of teams flying under the radar a little bit. The Patriots are favored by 2.5 and despite last year’s struggles, New England was excellent when favored. The Pats were 7-1 straight-up and 5-2-1 against the spread when they were favorites.

New Orleans was 5-6 ATS as an underdog. Both team have strong under trends, with the Saints 3-8 in totals last year when underdogs. New England was 2-6 in totals when it was favored. This could be one of the better NFL Week 5 betting trends, so will look to take this game under the total.

Falcons logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Atlanta -3 (-120)
Moneyline: Atlanta -165

The Atlanta did go 4-1 straight-up as a favorite, so the team made the most of games against weaker opponents.

Atlanta is doing some retooling this season, but should still be a better team than the Texans. Neither team is likely to advance to the postseason and have to take little victories when they can get them. This is one of the least exciting NFL Week 5 matchups on the schedule.

Lions logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Detroit -5
Moneyline: Detroit -210

The Detroit Lions should find themselves as decent-sized favorites over Carolina in a game they should win. These are the types of games the Lions have to take seriously if they want to justify their selection as favorites in the NFC Central.

The Panthers are likely to throw Bryce Young out there and see what he can do. There isn’t much doubt that he’ll be a solid NFL quarterback. It’s mainly a matter of how long it takes him to get comfortable at the NFL level. This is one of the NFL Week 5 lines that’s too tough to call.

Dolphins logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Miami -4.5
Moneyline: Miami -200

The Giants could make it interesting at the end.

Cardinals logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Cincinnati -7.5
Moneyline: Cincinnati -340

The Bengals are the largest of the NFL Week 5 favorites and this isn’t too bad of a spot for Cincinnati. The Bengals played the Titans the previous week and have the Seahawks at home next week. So there shouldn’t be any sort of letdown for this game.

Still, laying more than a touchdown on the road in the NFL on a regular basis is asking for trouble. The Cardinals probably aren’t going to be a very good team this year, but they could be getting a little undervalued in this spot.

Rams logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Philadelphia -6.5
Moneyline: Philadelphia -230

The NFL Week 5 betting lines have the Eagles -6.5 over the Los Angeles Rams. If the Rams are healthy and not showing any ill effects of their 2022 injury issues, they’ll be a better team than people are expecting. That’s one of the reasons that makes it hard to lay too many points to the Rams.

The Eagles are coming off a division game with Washington and have the Jets on tap, so this isn’t the greatest of spots for Philadelphia. The Rams +6.5 probably isn’t the worst play you can make this week against the NFL point spread.

Vikings logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Kansas City -4
Moneyline: Kansas City -190

Kansas City visits Minnesota in what could be a pretty decent matchup. The Vikings are usually a little better as a home underdog and typically play teams tougher than expected. The Minnesota defense probably won’t have a lot of success trying to slow down Kansas City’s offense.

But Minnesota can score a little bit themselves. The Chiefs are coming off a game with the Jets and have the Broncos and Chargers up next. That makes this a potential flat spot for Kansas City. The Vikings could be a pretty good choice for your NFL Week 5 parlays.

Broncos logo

Date & Time:
Odds: New York -1
Moneyline: New York -115

A decent AFC matchup here, as the Jets visit the Broncos in a battle of two pretty good defenses. The game also features two extremely well paid quarterbacks. Denver still has a lot to prove after last season and no player is feeling the heat more than Russell Wilson.

A win over the Jets and Rodgers would do quite a bit for the Broncos and their confidence. The Jets have the Eagles on deck and are coming off a game with Kansas City, so it could be tough for them to be up for this one. Have to believe Denver is one of the better NFL Week 5 picks straight up in this spot.

49ers logo

Date & Time:
Odds: San Francisco -2.5
Moneyline: San Francisco -130

The Cowboys visit the 49ers in the marquee game of the week. San Francisco is a small home favorite. Things should be a bit more settled for San Francisco at the quarterback position. But the 49ers are good enough to win without stellar quarterback play.

They just need somebody competent to lead the team. This a revenge game for Dallas, who was knocked out of the playoffs by the 49ers last season. This is one of the better NFL Week 5 point spreads, but the Cowboys are probably worth a decent look in teasers.

Raiders logo

Date & Time:
Odds: Las Vegas -1.5
Moneyline: Las Vegas -120

The NFL Week 5 full schedule winds-up with the Raiders should be one of your NFL Week 5 spread picks.
