NFL Football Power Rankings Week 8: Cats are So Hot Right Now
Feline-Themed Teams Shift the NFL Playoffs Futures Odds

Show us a cat-themed parlay from NFL power rankings. The latter two pulled off upsets. And while Carolina still sits at the bottom, spoiler alert, it finally won. If they keep this up, the NFL playoffs futures odds will see some movement.
NFL Teams on How Rich (or Poor) They’ve Made You
Eight weeks in the books, and our weekly power rankings see another scrambling thanks to several upsets. Underdogs only went 4-12 on the moneyline but 8-8 against the spread (ATS). But two of these took down a pair of teams from the top tier, while another fell after failing to cover. It was a good week for folks who went with dogs on their NFL picks and parlays.
Top Tier: Money Trains
That did not last long. Kansas City and Buffalo. Philadelphia was hard to place as the team with the best record on the moneyline, is just 4-2-2 ATS.
Jacksonville Jaguars (6-2; 6-2 ATS)
Detroit Lions (6-2; 6-2 ATS)
Miami Dolphins (6-2; 6-2 ATS)
Philadelphia Eagles (7-1; 4-2-2 ATS)
Upper Tier: Makin’ Money, Sometimes Sweatin’ It
Bengals at #11 as this team continues to climb our tier list.
Baltimore Ravens (6-2; 5-3 ATS)
Kansas City Chiefs (6-2; 5-3 ATS)
Dallas Cowboys (5-2; 5-2 ATS)
Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3; 4-3 ATS)
Seattle Seahawks (5-2; 4-2-1 ATS)
San Francisco 49ers (5-3; 5-3 ATS)
Cincinnati Bengals (4-3; 3-3-1 ATS)
Cleveland Browns (4-3; 3-3-1 ATS)
Underdog Tier: Dogs Can Make Money
This is where moneyline bettors can make loot (mostly). Cardinals return here after pulling off quite the backdoor cover. Though at 1-7, we can’t recommend betting too much on this team, especially on the NFL playoffs futures odds.
New York Jets (4-3; 4-2-1 ATS)
Minnesota Vikings (4-4; 4-3-1 ATS)
Tennessee Titans (3-4; 4-3 ATS)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4; 4-3 ATS)
Houston Texans (3-4; 4-3 ATS)
Indianapolis Colts (3-5; 4-4 ATS)
Los Angeles Rams (3-5; 4-3-1 ATS)
Arizona Cardinals (1-7; 4-4 ATS)
Danger Tier: Highway to the Danger Zone?
These teams don’t have a lot in common. Some are on losing skids, and some have been winning. But one look at those spread records, and you’ll see why they’re here. Most teams here should also have minus lines on the NFL playoffs futures odds. But as far as spread betting, they’re fade material.
Buffalo Bills (5-3; 3-5 ATS)
Los Angeles Chargers (3-4; 3-4 ATS)
Atlanta Falcons (4-4; 2-6 ATS)
Washington Commanders (3-5; 3-4-1 ATS)
New Orleans Saints (4-4; 2-5-1 ATS)
Las Vegas Raiders (3-5; 3-5 ATS)
Green Bay Packers (2-5; 3-4 ATS)
Worst Tier: Escaping Fade City
Three of the five teams on here won in Week 8. Unfortunately, they have a lot of work to do to move up a tier. These teams could still make for a lucrative bet if you fade them. The over under betting: all but one of their games have gone over.
New York Giants (2-6; 2-5-1 ATS)
Chicago Bears (2-6; 2-5-1 ATS)
Denver Broncos (3-5; 2-5-1 ATS)
New England Patriots (2-6; 2-6 ATS)
Carolina Panthers (1-6; 1-5-1 ATS)
