Will Prescott Win The MVP?
Dak Prescott added 331 yards ing with four touchdowns and no interceptions against the Washington Commanders last weekend in a 45-10 victory.
The Cowboys have won five of their last six games, with Prescott throwing at least three touchdowns in four of his previous five games. He even added a rushing touchdown in one of his last five games.
However, Prescott is still behind Jalen Hurts (+125), Patrick Mahomes (+350), Lamar Jackson (+400), and Tua Tagovailoa (+800) for the award.
With a couple of months left in the season, Prescott still has a chance to jump this list. He’ll get to face Washington again in Week 18, which should help. However, he’ll also face a lot of difficult defenses to finish out the season.
He’ll get average defenses like the Seahawks and Lions. However, he’ll also have to face the Bills, and Dolphins before the season concludes.
If Prescott helps the Cowboys earn wins in these bigger games, that will only help his case. However, it’ll be challenging for Prescott to put up MVP-like numbers against Dolphins.
We’re sure that Prescott would love to win the MVP. However, even if he doesn’t, if Prescott continues the trend of playing the best season of his career, that would be a big win for him heading into a new offseason.
His play has pushed the Cowboys to be favorites more times than not when it comes to the NFL point spreads.
