Sizing Up Spieth for Wyndham Championship Glory
2024 Wyndham Championship Odds

Golf action continues this week with the Wyndham Championship, and it’s a wide open betting affair.
2024 Wyndham Championship odds have Im Sung-jae favored to win at +1200, but we predict Jordan Spieth to get the job done.
There are many winning chances with PGA golf odds this week, including Min Woo Lee, Shane Lowry, and Akshay Bhatia.
In Spieth We Trust
It’s not easy to back Spieth on a consistent basis, but we’re backing the American to win the Wyndham Championship this week.
The 31-year-old comes off an improved T25 finish at the Open Championship, and that should give him confidence.
He has had a few weeks off to prepare for this tournament, and avoiding the best players in the world makes it easier.
Class is permanent with Spieth, and although he has only two wins in the last seven years, they came in 2021 and 2022.
His most recent win came at the 2022 RBC Heritage when beating Patrick Cantlay in a playoff, and there is no Cantlay in this field.
Former player turned commentator Smylie Kaufman believes there are aspects letting his game down, according to the latest golf news.
“He’s always been able to lean on his wedge game, his short game and his iron game,” Kaufman said. “His putting was good to start the year, but his putting lately has really tailed off and now he’s got an iron and wedge game that’s just mediocre from his standards.”
Despite his struggles, we’re taking his 2024 Wyndham Championship odds of +3000. It’s a fair price for a golfer of his stature.

Lowry to Go Low in North Carolina
Shane Lowry is having an excellent 2024, and we expect to see him near the top of the golf leaderboard.
The Irishman didn’t have everything go his way at the 2024 Paris Olympics, but that followed a sixth at the Open Championship and a T9 at the Travelers Championship.
The 37-year-old won the2022 BMW Championship when beating McIlroy and Jon Rahm.
Technically, Lowry has yet to win a solo PGA Tour tournament. He won the WGC Invitational in 2015, which is a World Golf Championship, before winning a major and then a pairs event, so he wants a solo PGA Tour victory.
His recent form suggests he’s playing well enough to justify his +2200 price with 2024 Wyndham Championship odds.
He’s on the second line of betting, and money should come for him throughout the week.

The Timing is Right for Lee
Min Woo Lee is one of the most popular golfers around the world, and we are happy to back the Australian until he wins on the PGA Tour.
He didn’t show his best form for Australia at the Olympics, and being on the quick rebound won’t be easy. However, he won’t get a better chance to win a tournament than this week.
There are no massive superstars in the field, especially with Im as the favorite, and he could be too good for them.
He has loyal ers, and the 26-year-old could pay them off with a victory in North Carolina.
His odds have drifted to +3300, which are good enough to take. He represents value, providing he’s not too tired after flying home from Paris.
McNealy Closing In on First Win
Much like Lee, Maverick McNealy is getting close to posting his first PGA Tour win.
He finished T3 at the 3M Open, and he had a good chance to win the tournament on the final day, but his putter let him down.
The 28-year-old Stanford graduate doesn’t always have the excitement of the world’s best players, but he’s solid enough to win.
This is the first tournament with a new caddy, having spent seven years with Travis McAlister.
“I’ve had an incredible seven-year run with Travis,” McNealy said. “If you told me when I turned pro that I would spend two years on the Korn Ferry Tour and get my card and keep it every single year I’d say that’s a big success for someone wanting to do this for a living.”
Sometimes a new caddy can make the difference, so take his 2024 Wyndham Championship odds of +4500, which is an excellent golf wager.
