Augusta National hosts the first major of the year, and for those who enjoy betting on golf, it doesn’t get much better.
Top American
Betting on Top American markets is always competitive, but bettors always get excellent odds.
Our top pick for the best American with Masters 2023 top finish odds is none other than Scottie Scheffler, who is the firm +400 favorite.
PGA Tour titles in the last 14 months, it’s not hard to see why.
The world number one has to hold off the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, and Patrick Cantlay, but he’s the man we want to be on.
+400 is on the shorter side of value, but compared to his tournament winner odds of +600, it’s a solid wager.
Top Lefty
We always have a wager on Top Leftie. There are only four in the field this week, including Brian Harman and former Masters champions Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, and Mike Weir.
We haven’t seen much from Watson and Mickelson lately, mostly due to changing tours, but Mickelson loves playing Augusta, so he’s worth backing at +185 odds.

Top Debutante

We almost entertained Ryan Fox at +850, but the Kiwi is better suited to European-style courses.
Kitayama is a +650 chance, which is excellent shopping for the Arnold Palmer Invitational winner.
Top European
The Europeans have an excellent record in the Masters, including recent winners Sergio Garcia and Danny Willett.
Rory McIlroy leads the market at +210, but for a guy who hasn’t won a major since 2014, we’re not in his corner.
We prefer the Masters 2023 top finish odds for Tyrrell Hatton. He played superb golf in 2023, and he’s nearing a big victory.
Despite his occasional showing of anger, he’s a top-class golfer who doesn’t mind the pressure of playing in big tournaments.
He’s paying +1200 to be top European, and that’s well worth taking, especially compared to the odds of McIlroy, who comes off a missed cut at The Players.
