If bettors took a chance at the Tar Heels at -150 odds, they nailed a $100 profit for every $150 wager. On the other hand, if bettors took a chance at the Owls, they most likely lost the chance of making a $220 profit on +220 odds for every $100 wager.

Betting History Of The Military Bowl

Both the St. Petersburg Bowl and the Military Bowl were the bowl games authorized and introduced by the NCAA back in 2008. That college bowl season saw the inclusion of top events and the incorporation of the Military Bowl. It started in 2008 as the Eaglebank Bowl and was rebranded to the Military Bowl two years later. Before the event was transferred to the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland in 2013, the game, the event, and the celebration of the Military Bowl were held at Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium in Washington, D.C.

The event’s first edition saw Wake Forest take a solid 29-19 win over the Navy. In the 2010 edition, the Maryland Terrapins sured the 50-point mark with a 51-20 win over the East Carolina Pirates.

In the 2017 edition of the Military Bowl, the Navy featured with an even more solid performance and took a 49-7 win over the Virginia Cavaliers. Since the beginning of the event, the ACC has featured in over nine games and stands with a 5-4 record.

Currently, the ACC leads the count with the most appearances at nine and the most wins at five. The Navy leads as the number one school in the history of the Military Bowl with a 2-1 record.
