Novak Djokovic Topples Rafael Nadal in 2024 Paris Summer Olympics

Djokovic, however, is still in prime form and is a major threat to add an Olympic gold medal to his showcase. Olympic gold would be the lone missing piece from the amazing career of the 37-year-old.

Djokovic dominates Nadal again: Nadal, now 38, lost his greatness due to a series of injuries, making him no longer a favorite in sports betting for many matches and tournaments. He struggled in the first set, winning only one game.His forehand is no longer as brilliant as it once was and it made for easy fodder as Djokovic rolled.

He has beaten his Serbian foe in eight of their 10 matches in the French Open, the annual clay-court major. He has beaten Djokovic 20 out of 30 matches on clay after Monday’s loss.

Djokovic is the only player to have beaten Nadal in all four majors. The Spaniard has lost five matches at Roland Garros and three of the defeats have come to Djokovic.
